What are "verbs"?
My high school teacher defined it best.
She said VERBS are "action words".
What a beautiful, simple definition!
It has stayed with me since.
If you define it that way, no student can fail to understand it.
What does Scripture say about taking action?
James 1:22

22 But be ye doers of the word,
and not hearers only,
deceiving your own selves.

Focus on VERBS that matter.
Use ACTION words, in SERVICE to GOD, and others.
And show how dynamic GOD's WORD is.
Actually, nothing could be more dynamic.
